Yeah, I'd prefer Harris so vastly over Biden for prez. It just might happen. I used to like Warren, but her self-defeating attack on Sanders in the primary revealed that she's really not on my team, so to speak. She had the "Pocahontas" baggage too. I'm glad she wasn't the pick for this race. I'm not a Bernie Bro, as in being a fan like I am of Stevie Nicks music, but I think he's as legit a progressive as they come.

She wasn't my first choice... or my second choice... or my tenth... but at this point I'll settle for anyone who isn't an anti-science moron or bigot. The crazy fascist disinfectant guy has got to go.

I'm just lost at this point. Is Kamala Harris a cop or is she defunding the police? Who even knows?

It's interesting how the authoritarian mindset has poisoned both sides of the US political divide.

When I vote I look at the available candidates and vote for the one that most closely reflects my values. I do not seriously expect any candidate to EXACTLY match my values (unless it's me standing for office!). Any political choice will be some sort of compromise, anything else is government by dictate.

Here we are looking at voters refusing to vote because none of the available candidates are exactly what they want. Or people voting along tribal lines regardless of how repulsive the candidate actually is. Both reactions are rooted in authoritarianism.

So he wants Harris to earn his vote, but he's ready to just give it to Trump...says everything you need to know. Fuckwit's gonna fuckwit.

Trump needs to go, but he and his cronies also need to be taken to task after if the Dems win. They can't be allowed walk from this or Trump wins and will still exist on the sidelines, making headlines, riling his cult, and making 'fat stacks'.

Kamala seems to hint thst this is exactly what they want to do. If anyone is struggling to find a reason to vote they should start there.

Based on her questioning in congress of Trump cronies, she seems like exactly the type of person I'd want prosecuting these scumbags, but the most scathing critique I've heard imo is her failure to prosecute Mnuchin after the banks crashed in 08. That sounds bad, but I don't know the facts about it so can't give an opinion on it yet.
I don't know if the VP will have much to do, officially, with prosecuting Trump dildos.

Mr Kirschner seems to like her.

It's a bit problematic to be seen as prosecuting one's political opponents. Well, except for Trump voters, who were happy to chant "lock her up". They'd of course cry foul if it was Trump who ended up getting locked up by the new administration for his actual, demonstrable crimes.

Rest assured there are folks (particularly here in New York) waiting on the sidelines to take Trump down, all a dem government would need to do is leave a clear path open. I'm of the mind the primary reason Trump is running again is to run out the clock on these suits, the only thing that will save his ass from serious jail time. We can expect ironic riots from the deplorables.

TBH I wouldn't be greatly surprised if Trump follows the example of many a corrupt dictator and runs to a country with no extradition treaty with the USA once his term is up. Perhaps the UAE or Saudi?

The Democrats are running a senile old man whose brain is turning to Jell-O in real time and his VP pick, Cop Kamala, is a thoroughly unlikable second-rate slave driver who will do nothing to entice the far left "defund the police" vote the campaign was hoping for.

What a well-thought-out response. I can see why there is such great enthusiasm for the Biden/Harris ticket.
