Not saying watch real time as they go. Check recorded data, trace it back, something like that.

S25 E101 is pretty close to what the data suggested.

unless you want to go all Global Conspiracy with circular reasoning.
I've heared that recently with AF447 - it took them so long to find the recorders so they could fake the data!!1!

However, you're going to love this. The source of these tweets? None other than Rupert Murdoch.

Maybe it's to get more people to read The Sun. I guess Page 3 wasn't pulling enough readers.

This is a simple case of plane hijacking by alien life forms. Has no bloody connection to conspiracies.
Let them keep searching for the next 500 years.

I've heard that recently with AF447 - it took them so long to find the recorders so they could fake the data!!1!

I just think it shows an incredible amount of incompetence [or lack of will, for some reasons, maybe to cover something incriminating or embarrassing up, that might lead to an international disaster (no, not a conspiracy theory, certainly not global - just your typical politics) - on the part of some country(ies)].

Why does there possibly have to be such a borderline-conspiracy-theory reason behind it all, you ask? Because otherwise, it is simply unbelievable that finding a plane with the resources available to all of those countries is proving to be so difficult.

It is already an embarrassment.

It's laughable.

And it is even worse for the relatives of the passengers who suffer even more because of this; what is either genuine incompetence or possible attempt at obfuscation.

Why am I saying such seemingly ridiculous things...?

Because I refuse to accept that they're doing their best, without any interference from any parties, when they cannot locate a frigging plane or undeniable, unmistakeable signs of a crash, in the 21st fucking century, all those countries, with all their resources, with satellites that can see the filling in someones teeth, for fuck's sake.

Unless...some interested parties ARE attempting to hush hush things to prevent something from surfacing out of all this already embarrassing situation.

So there....

Write it off as a conspiracy theory, but I cannot accept such incompetence, unless there is provable interference with the investigation/search.

It is unacceptable in this day and age.

I'm not even following the news about this, until they have something concrete, which they haven't managed so far, and that speaks for itself.

Your incredulity about it doesn't mean that you are right. I think it is very likely that they are doing their best to find the plane. Unfortunately for them the ocean is a fucking huge place and radar (and other coverage) is not complete. In some cases of a plane sinking there is little left on the surface to find it couple that with a huge search area and no matter how good you are or how high tech your equipment you might not find that plane for a long time.

Latest update from BBC News ... Australian vessel has picked up signals consistent with transmissions from the FDR and CVR in the northern section of the defined search area. One contact was maintained for two hours.

The conspiracy nuts are out in force after todays promising news that a US navy towed undersea sensor connected to one of our navy ships has repeatedly found strong signals from what they can only suspect are the black boxes.
They have been saying the batteries last "around 30 days", and "coincidentally" this is the 30th day. That got the worms crawling out of the woodwork that it was "suspicious".

Of course, an aviation expert said that planes are generally over-engineered, so they usually expect the batteries could possibly last over a week longer than the "about 30 days" they are specced to last.
