Trump sounds like he will be back for 2024.

WASHINGTON (AP) -- After voting to acquit, McConnell condemns Donald Trump and calls him `practically and morally responsible' for riot.

Trying to have it both ways. This will hopefully be bad for the Republicans going forward.

He's probably the main reason why the US can't have nice things.

Trump or his team doesn’t know how to write a binding legal document? Quelle surprise.

Rule of thumb: don't ask Trump to speak at your wedding, or any excitement you had built-up for wedding night might get "deflated". :shifty:

Is he renting himself out as 'Hire-a-drunk-uncle' for events now?

Some wag I read somewhere on the interweb remarked that, following the recent trend of live-action remakes of animated classics, we have actually just had a four year long live-action remake of Southpark, staring Donald Trump as Eric Cartman. It's all starting to fall into place now...

I'm suspecting it's more of a contractual obligation that if you hold any sort of event at Mar-a-largo then the resident squatter is entitled to gate-crash and talk interminably about how great he is.

I'm shocked, shocked I tell you: New York prosecutor says Trump inquiry now 'criminal'(BBC)

*OK, utterly unsurprised. Hopefully they can prosecute some time this decade, but I suspect it'll be kept in legal limbo until Trump shuffles off this mortal coil.

This is a long one, probably take me a while to unpack it here for anyone not on Twitter but I'll give it a go. In the meantime;

Basically one long recap of pretty much every fuckup, spiteful and criminal act that baboon's posing pouch ever did over the four years.

Cool copy-pasting + smiley, bro. The highlighted part is what interests me - I'd hate to be posting stuff like that, since too many of the posts are overlong. The highlighted part is what everything else hinges on, anyway (I've probably only noticed a handful of "good writers" on the forum, and I'm definitely not one of them). If you're talking about long posts, it would really help me out if you could point me to some that make no meaningful claim about anything real, and don't invite direct criticism, so I can try to adjust the way I communicate.

Um... maybe of the last 9 months? If that's not too generous. (Probably too much faff during the early primary season.) Especially ones about Trump, I suppose, to keep it on topic... but idc really, on both counts. Thanks.

It didn't take long for the cultists to adopt the Orange Former Guy's recent trouser malfunction at his North Carolina rally as their new uniform. :lol:

'Pure insanity': Justice Dept. rebuffed Trump bid to overturn election

And still no repercussions. It makes the USA look incapable of protecting its own democracy, which in turn reflects on the neocon agenda of exporting American style democracy to the world.
