Republican Watch

People who say "Democrats are as bad as Republicans" are almost as bad as Republicans.

For discussion of politics, and what's going on in the world today.

It used to be you'd wear your cross inside your shirt. Now I see why that's not a thing anymore.

Cruz was fiddling with his phone during the hearing, planning another vacation?

It's literally virtue-signaling. Something that the right is so good at. Who the hell flies flags on their doorstep of a politician months after he lost? And tried to start a civil war? <----------rant included

Nobody in Maine, I hope. The idea of getting snowed in for the rest of my life gets more appealing every day.

It's not as bad as the south or midwest, but there are stupid Trump flags still flying up here today. Stubborn old crabs mostly.

I'm not a fan of MSNBC, but this came up in my related videos and is worth a thought. I suspected that it's merely virtue-signaling, but perhaps there is an implied threat. If so, that's lame. I also note Don Jr is wearing flannel shirts in his stupid videos. More posing on his part. So desperate to fit in among assholes. He shouldn't have to try so hard, he's already an asshole in his own right.
Not that flannel shirts make someone an asshole, I have my own. But being a millionaire from Manhattan and piling a bunch of the same model guns onto dodgy unstable pegboard shelving automatically qualifies. <-----incoherent ramble included.

They know the dumb hick contingent is standing by to throw money at them. Probably money from their welfare checks funded by the democrat cities they hate so much.

Didn't seem to have any problem paying money indirectly into Traitor Tot's pockets and will probably continue to do so. At what point do they realise they're funding a bunch of grifters for which they'll get absolutely nothing in return.

Now speaking to Taylor-Greene she seems bent on outdoing Cruz in the 'everyone hates me' department? Boebert has unsecured guns behind her that she's proud of, damn the likely event that her kids shoot one another with them?

Eh.

Never. I predict that Trump will end up in court with all of his personal and business financials revealed and they will still defend him saying the whole thing is rigged.

Ayup. If they can't tell by now, as obvious as it's been, then they never will. Could show him getting literal checks from Putin and they would say he's just being a smart business man.

Bannon is being investigated by New York now for the scamming of build the wall of donors that he was pardoned for by Trump. If he lied on his federal tax returns, not claiming the stolen money as income, then he would have hid it from his state tax returns as well. Acceptance of a pardon has been adjudicated in the past to be an admission of guilt. :tehe: Obviously, my expectations are tempered to expecting zero justice, but there's more than a 0.0% chance that a little smidgeon of justice could be reached.

The CPAC stage design is oddly specific.

Almost got ninja'd! One of the Neo-Nazi groups (NSM) swapped out the Swastika for the Odal rune in their flag as well.

Jesus Christ. Losers.
The speeches were devoid of any policy pitches whatsoever. They have nothing, but complaining about a toy potato. Don Jr bombed so hard. That bit wasn't even worthy of a middle school talent show. Josh Hawley reminded everyone that he objected to the election, over and over. Just looking back instead of forward. The only vaguely coherent speech was Tom Cotton, who's a frightening politician. I hope he's out of government soon. For Christ's sake, fake conservative voters, don't give him a promotion!
