Someone linked this up elsewhere trying to show that Ron Paul has his facts straight about evolution.

Um, Ron Paul has science degrees, right? You'd think that to get a university level science degree that you'd have to realise that a scientific theory isn't just some unproven thing.

Some people lie against their beliefs as a means to an end.
"I know this evilution stuff is crap but I'll lie to get my degree so that I can say 'I have a science degree'..."
I have NO BELIEF in the existence of a God or gods. I do not have to offer evidence nor do I have to determine absence of evidence because I do not ASSERT that a God does or does not or gods do or do not exist.

In a libertarian society it doesn´t matter. Because there´s no big government to enforce evolution. See? Unlike some MASSachusetts guy, Paul ain´t in bed with the gravity elites either. It just doesn´t matter in a libertarian society where the invisible hand bends space time, if anything bends space time at all. There´s nothing in the constitution that says that people jumping off cliffs should fall down. That whole physics stuff is thus an unconstitutional impediment on the freedom of the individual to float.

Paul would also like to see a return to a gold standard, susu.exp.

But, is the abysmal quality of Republican candidates, or their seeming pervasive ignorance, in some ways reflective of American society more broadly?
