I'm suspicious of anyone who complains about it and I'm inclined to think they are put off by the idea of it, rather than ever having actually tried it.

Oh there's no doubt the taste isn't necessarily the problem for most. But I'm not that keen on the taste either

Visit any Old Firm home game as an away supporter. You'll be back across the border asap and nobody could blame you.

It's all kicking off ...

The draft Scottish Independence Referendum Act 2017 for consultation has been published by @scotgov http://www.gov.scot/Resource/0050/00507743.pdf

This is the Daily Record's view, the same Daily Rangers Record that invented and printed the "vow".

Lothian Road and Toll Cross were always good areas for a punch up.

None of this doing it fairly crap, your opponents won't

Just change the question to

Do you want to be part of an increasingly fascist UK where eventually the English are going to lock you up in camps

or

Do you want a chance to actually not get exterminated and be part of a free country

Every nation has its own kind of sausage. You've got to do something with the bits you sweep up off the abbatoir floor at the end of the day.

It has better be awesome as its going to be our main export (along with young educated people)

I've had it once so I can pass any citizenship tests Sturgeon may give me but never again

Not sure if it's fantasy figures, but supposedly Malt accounts for 1/4 of the total food and drink exports... for the whole UK.

So, SLab greets Indyref2 with expected bellyaching: have they, the most autonomous branch office in the history of autonomy, put forward any detailed proposals of their own to preserve Scotland's place in Europe?

Nope, we've to just eat our cereal and stfu, apparently. They will be somewhat concerned about the Daily Record's position, I suspect ...

This was Kez, today. Idiot.

Talking up #indyref2 is irresponsible economic vandalism. Our country is divided enough - don't divide us again First Minister.

A SENSIBLE and competent Scottish branch leader would be using the prospect to try and force May into concessions for Scotland within EU or the single market. But nooooooooo ... SNP BAD!

SNP want to divide Scotland by turning it into a one-party state. Obviously. Or something.

Narrow nationalists, restricting their referendum by ethnicity rather than letting everyone who lives here vote, like EU citizens ... wait, no, that's not right. That was the other one. I'm confused.

Green support for Indyref 2 overwhelming. Only a handful of votes against.

BRING IT ON. That's it.

See what the Tories have done? Turned me into an angry nationalist, something I've never ever been.

Sad. But fuck them.

Yup, Green support was the only real barrier (all this talk about Whitehall vetos is moonshine: even a blundering authoritarian like May knows it'd inflame support for independence). I didn't think they'd block it (grassroots support's too high), but good to have it out the way, and with no attempt to screw some concession or other from Bute House.

Instead, Harvie's read the mood, and jumped on the indy train willingly. Full steam ahead.
