That birth announcement in that Honolulu newspaper is rather a problem for these birthers. Either this is a complex conspiracy going back 50 years with fake paper trail or Occams razor says that's nonsense, and the birthers are looney tunes.

If it was just to fake US citizenship then wouldn't you stay out of the limelight ? Obama has done everything possible to attract attention.

Breaking News

Quadruple amputee Philippe Croizon wants to swim from Europe to Africa in the Strait of Gibraltar. Croizon's family is concerned for his safety. He's vulnerable to attack from Somali Pirates as he is unarmed.

Well, there's the problem right there. That women's pristine pure white genes irretrievably contaminated in that little half-breed. No wonder the tea baggers are so mad.

Y'know what this means, right? Paul didn't die; He had a sex change and moved to Hawaii! Which means Obama is a citizen of Liverpool!

Perhaps they got confused what with the Hawaii flag having the Union Jack on it - mistook it for a British colony ?.

Not sure what to make of this as Paul is in fact not dead at all haha. Know your Beatles.

There's a newspaper to back it up? Jesus fucking christ people - if they conspired back in the 50's to make a fucking newspaper announcement, don't you think they would also have made a BC?

A newspaper announcement would most likely be generated from registering the birth with the town clerk. I don't think people call the news paper themselves to announce births

The conspiracy is that if Obama was born over seas, he would NOT be a US citizen because his mother was too young under the law to confer citizenship at birth outside the US. So the only way that Obama could claim US citizenship would be to file the birth as an at home birth with the town clerk. If the mother or grandparents were aware of the citizenship law, they'd realize they would have to record the birth in Hawaii.

Ensuring the birth was recorded in Hawaii was not some secret plan in case Obama ever wanted to be President  Without he would not be a US citizen at all.

I'm sure everyone has seen this before. What does it say about a country when it takes a comedian to provide a reasonable analysis of an issue?

Only 57% of Americans think Obama was born in the US. 25% say No, while 18% are unsure. Poll was taken yesterday.

43% is an awful high number of people that aren't convinced.
