This guy Lalo Dagach is an idiot. First error spotted:
He shows a snippet from the Fox interview where Reza says he is a professor on Religion. Lalo Dagach then says that Reza Aslan is not a professor of religion but a professor of creative writing. Yes, true. Reza is not a professor on Religion but a professor on creative writing. But that interview is from 2013. And in 2013, Reza Aslan was a professor on religion! D'Oh!

What are his lies about Islam? I've read "No God but God" and "How to Win a Cosmic War" and they are both sensible books with ideas I could not object to. Especially the first one had a very scholarly approach making a clear distinction between facts and opinion.

Do you have a source for this? I know that Aslan has a BA in religion, but it would be good to have corroboration of his other claim.

I concur. There are obviously lots of things Aslan believes which I think are gibbering tosh, but he makes very good points in a number of topics which I can't really dispute.

"Professor of"......is a job title, as opposed to an academic credential.
And people change jobs from time to time.
BSc, MSc, BA, MA, PHD - are academic credentials.
