That is, still no smoking gun it seems... Quoting from the first link

Still, all is not lost... Apparently a good deal of material pertaining to "Rendlesham incident" have gone missing, which is direct evidence for a massive conspiracy at the highest echelons of Her Majesty's Government! zOMG!

Personally, I'd rather hope that if, for example, the Royal Navy actually wanted to cover up seeing something suspicious which they'd written down in the ship's log, they'd at least have the wit to make a doctored copy of the log as a replacement rather than just ditching the original and hoping no-one would notice.
I don't do sarcasm smileys, but someone as bright as you has probably figured that out already.
