I once thought an angel was whispering in my ear, then I married her and realized she was actually a shrieking arch-demon from the City of Dis.

I'm curious, did the angels not know how long he'd been into child porn, or do they not like being specific?

Sounds like a challenge, let's wait and see.

Ok, if your angels would like to flit over to my house and make a note of the object that's sitting in front of my PC monitor, then flit back and tell you what it is?

Let everyone know what it is, and I'll be impressed.

A name would be good too, useful I'd have thought. And maybe not waited 20-26yrs before spilling the beans, that'd have been good too

Everything about this statement seems designed to allow you to select some incident that happens later and claim it as a match, when in fact it would just be coincidence. As others have pointed out, your statement here is very unspecific. You don't have a name. You don't have a country or continent even. You don't know how long he is has been making money from child pornography for to an accuracy better than + or - 3 years. You don't know whether is well known in politics, in the church or both: that is really just a claim that he is "well known". You don't define what "well known" means. It could mean that he is the president of c country, a member of a country's government, the member of a country's opposition party, a figure in local politics, a businessman who runs one of the top 20,000 companies in the world, and so on. You don't say to what extent he has been making money off child porn and how. He could be running a huge child porn operation, or he could have been much less active in the child porn business.

Further, you don't say that your angels are going to bring him out in the open via you. You don't say that your angels are going to tell you a name and presumably tell you how to provide evidence to some state so that they can deal with him. No, instead you merely say that the angels are going to try to "bring this man out into the open".

Further, you don't even say that they will bring him out into the open within 30 days. You say that they will try. That means it could actually take the angels 40 days, or 60 days - or maybe even a year if it proves really difficult. In fact, if someone is arrested one year from now, you could even claim that your angels did take the necessary steps to bring it out into the open within 30 days, but that it took another 11 months for events to happen in the world, after your angels took these steps, for it to come out into the open.

What this means is this:

If anyone of any importance whatsoever becomes suspected of child pornography offences at any time in the future, you will be claiming this as a success for your angels - even though things like this happen all the time.

I may as well claim that my angels are telling me that a terrorist who is well educated - maybe he has a university degree or knows how to read or something - will make an attack in some kind of financial building - like a bank, or maybe a market or a shop - or maybe near a place like that, like in a town which has a bank in it - and that this terrorist will be wearing pants.

If this is an attempt to substantiate your claims, it is laughable. It is also dishonest.

Further, even if you did make a much more specific prediction, and it turned out to be true, this would be of little help to you. It would still be more rational to think it was coincidence than angels talking to you.

Also, why did they tell you? So you could post it on skeptic forums? I mean they are dealing with the problem already... why tell you? Maybe you are meant to play some key part here. Better get off your backside!

... As an interested scientific observer, with no pre-concieved notions one way or another, I say we wait until Dec 7 to truly judge this individual.

Although, most child pornographers fit that description, and they are being busted all the time. If I said, "One told me that Obama had eggs in the last 10 days", would that be true? Or that "Charlie Sheen will be arrested again in 2012"?

And compare the predictions of this individual with a control group of predictors who claim not to have the input of angels over an extended period of time.

I am more concerned with people holding these beliefs accusing someone innocent. Please don't encourage holders of delusional beliefs (presuming no trolling) to specifically accuse named persons.

OK, you love the attention.

Would you mind showing the 'proof' that angels whisper to you?

Hint: you haven't even shown any evidence yet. Good luck on the proof.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

Yes I believe they could. Unicorns can take me for rides and leprechauns can teach me the jig. Elves could point out the best mushrooms in the forest too! Dragons could heat my bath and abominable snowmen could keep me warm in winter.

I just haven't found any.

Oh. That's it?!? I've had kids play better tricks on me!

between minus 5 and 1 years old?

...or was it this one...

PROVED that did you?

All you did was make a flimsy attempt at evidence by pulling news articles from the arse end of a popular internet search engine.

Besides, most of us know that cool angels give you discount at bookstores. :naughty2:
