If by "proved" you mean "showed that you were completely wrong", then yes, I guess you did!

I love all the attention I got from you guys.

Interestingly, attention-seeking would be also be a good reason for someone with nothing else going on to make shit up.

Just sayin'...

Robert Burke of Dubuque pleaded guilty in August to one count of producing child pornography. The activities took place at the Sageville Elementary School in Dubuque.

Oh dear. Looks like your 'angels' are a bit slow on the uptake given that he was found guilty 3 MONTHS ago!!

And the fact that the other guy had an outstanding warrant for child porn seems to confirm this.

Any news on what's sitting in front of my PC monitor? No? Didn't think so.

"They will make you one of us." Is what the voices told me in my most disturbed, nightmarish and paranoid moments.
Of course, I was coming down off ecstasy at the time.

So which one was the angel-sourced one, and why didn't they predict the other? :smoke:

Surely your dragon in incorporeal, right? And incorporeal beings can eat other incorporeal beings - it only stands to reason!

Incorporeal? My Trevor? Certainly not,he's all too real.Trevor is a Sumatran pygmy dragon. He's brown and green, weighs 345 pounds and has a tiny wingspan,of only 15 feet. Trevor eats only live food, which is very inconvenient. I usually feed him free range street kids.

I also had a flying pig called Wayne, but Trevor eated him.

Now you will have to excuse me;it's time for my anti psychotic meds.( I forgot yesterday) :smoke:

Not usually, but they can.

Interesting. I've only had one auditory hallucination in my life (at least that I know of). Early one morning, about a month after my mother died, I heard her voice call my name. It really startled me. And I can certainly understand how people might attribute a supernatural cause to such an experience. It was a little while later that I learned that hallucinations like that one are quite common in such circumstances.

Sagan talked about the very same thing; he said that he had a great relationship with his parents, he was very close to them, and more than a decade after their deaths, he still missed them a lot. And every year or so he would hear one of their voices saying his name. As he put it, he had heard them say his name so often when they were alive, it was a sound that had deep psychological roots for him - so it was perfectly natural that every once in a while his brain would play it back to him. He even began to look forward to it.

When I was about 6/7 I once clearly heard an almost ghostly voice call my name twice, "Thooo-maas! Thooo-maas!" It scared the crap out of me. It was really early in the morning before everyone was awake. Bright so in the summer time. I remember thinking it was an angel and I calmed down.

I thought about this recently for the first time in years and a disturbing thought came to me - What if it was my mum moaning my dad's name twice in throes of passion! :o

That's more disturbing than a ghost or an angel?
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

Far worse :ill:

Not that I haven't heard them hundreds of times but just having this particular, vivid and haunting memory explained away like that.

You're lucky to get the angels, I got the electric elves from dimension X. They don't "whisper softly into your ear", they carve their message into your brain with hydrochloric acid.

But if you're serious, you might be suffering from psychosis. I hope you get some help.
