I wouldn't worry it's not a garden path. Rather the way to Chuck E Cheese.

I'm reading a neat little book on neuropsychology by Broks, in one of the tales he wonders of the possibility of placing half a brain in another's skull. Their worst enemy, as a bizarre thought - experiment.

I never met him, but I was a student at his Uni. I'm really surprised his book is being adapted for stage, but his style is probably well suited and maybe it's a pity he didn't do more.

Although I am not familiar with "Chuck E Cheese", it sounds like it might mean the same thing as "the garden path".

People with a damaged corpus callosum (also, the Hogan twins of Canada, who have a "thalamic bridge" - a term coined especially for them - between their brains) have already done this experiment, described earler in this thread. The result is that they sometimes (not all the time) fight themselves. When they find that they are only hurting themselves, they tend to stop, or at least start pulling their punches! However, tension can always resurface.
