Just the way I see her. It is a compliment. I have a great regard for Angela.

As I said ages ago I actually find them very similar physically and mentally.

You've made this silly assertion before. The next time the circumstances exist, i.e. an election result where no party is able to form a government, parties will enter into a coalition.

Will be supply and demand not a coalition. Basically no party will risk staying in a coalition if it doesn anything that goes against its core vote

So a man who tried to influence the general election by spreading lies about the SNP which people would be eager to believe is exactly the right sort of calibre of devious little shit to serve in a Lib-dem cabinet?

If there was the remotest possibility of them ever being in one again I might be worried.

This desperation to whip up a scandal where none exists is great fun.

This desperation to defend a self-confessed liar is quite sad.

The case bought by 4 Orkney constituents against their MP, ‘ the People versus Carmichael’ has got its dates set by the Court of Session. The trial will take place in Edinburgh on the 7th and 8th of September and will initially focus on points of law that can only be determined by the judges of the Electoral Court.

You don't understand. Whatever the facts, SD is always right, and if the facts say something different, the facts are wrong.

Well the LibDems(RIP) have very few choices for spoke persons. Anyway who is going to listen to them?

"The people versus Carmichael"

Please, keep it going, this is priceless.

So far as nationalist socialists are concerned, they're lucky that people draw the line at merely lying (or more accurately, truthfully relaying the contents of a confidential memo) about them.

Here we go again find the odd half scandal and talk just about that.

I'd prefer to focus on the good rather than the odd bad deed. The country does need a strong central liberal voice.
If you must be critical talk about Lib-Dem policies.

I don't sink to the Labour fan-boys tactic here of focusing on the messenger rather than the message or we would just be chatting about coke and hookers on the Labour thread.

No we wouldn't - because a person would have to be very, very stupid indeed to believe that a crossbench peer is a representative of the labour party. And also because we don't all share the puritanical hatred of adults who enjoy recreational drugs and sex that characterises tories.

I agree though that the exposure of another yellow tory scumbag as an inveterate liar who holds democracy and the electorate in utter contempt is not a scandal. It isn't even surprising.

The interesting thing about that list is that it only contains 'MP' five times.

Ignoring the obvious disgust for the democratic process that shows for a moment, how fucking useless would you have to be in order to be one of the yellow tories' tiny handful of MPs and still not be appointed as a spokesman for anything?

At least under farron they might finally be getting some self-awareness.

It is sad that your views always seem so full of hate. Dishonest people are in all major parties. You selectively focus on the few dodgy Lib-Dems. What about these cash for access guys ?

No carl, what is sad is that some people are simply unable to acknowledge the indefensible actions of their party. Carmichael outright lied to smear his opponents and get elected.

Apart from the ensuing waste of resources lavished on this waste of space, his is precisely the behaviour that makes people disengage from politics altogether and allows the tories to take office with the support of just 24% of the public.

This reeks of some deniable attempt to link the SNP with the Nazis, except that we all know that 'socialism' was only included in the latter's name to try to convince the working people that the party was on their side. Still, when you've nothing else to support your argument ...

Some people's knowledge of politics only extends as far as what they need to now to troll liberals with. They don't even know the difference between a crossbench peer and a non-affiliated one. Nuff said. My advice is to ignore such people until the happy day it is no longer necessary.

If this refers to the end of the Lords, then I'm sure you'll be happy to support Labour in Lords reform & the introduction of an elected second chamber.

They are nearer Italian fascists, who didnt really care about your race or religion as long as you were Italian and everyone else was the problem.

They have exactly the same people voting for them as UKIP the poor underclass who want to blame the English (or the nicer term 'Westminister Elite') for all their problems. If you define yourself by your nationality you are a fascist period
