I have to admit that these genres are generally on the periphery of my radar, and I mostly only hear artists who have nudeged into the mainstream. I'm really enjoying Jamie xx' record:

Sweet!!! Never hear of him.
Putting it on my list. :-) I do some youtube browsing to find new stuff that give me something. Sometimes I need quirky stuff, other times minimalistic. At the moment I need the beats and the groove to be a bit minimalistic.

Jamie xx is a member of The xx, a band whose debut album I love, but they've had trouble matching it. Jamie's solo stuff is a lot more beat oriented than I would have expected.

I really dig Jamie XX and that video is the best thing I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing that.

I liked the eJazz. Like an eCigarette, the same amount of enjoyment without the accompanying risk. :D

In other electronic-related news...

Kraftwerk have confirmed details of a “3D album” – translating their current visual show into a release scheduled for autumn 2015.

Speaking to Rolling Stone, the group’s only original member, Ralf Hütter, explained that their 3D performances at venues such as New York’s MoMA, the Düsseldorf Kunstsammlung, London’s Tate Modern, the Sydney Opera House and Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles would be turned into Blu-Ray format.

“We translated our performances to 3D, and in surround sound, kind of like 3D sound. We’ve been doing this and working on a Blu-Ray to make this available,” said Hütter.

“It should be coming out in the late fall. We’ve put a lot of work into all the images, transforming from our Kling Klang archives into 3D format and arranging it synchronized with the music, so it’s quite a lot of production. We’re quite a small team of musicians, technicians, computer programmers here at Kling Klang Studios; we do everything ourselves. That’s what we’ve been working in, and still are. When we travel to America, we’ll hopefully be finished with this work.”...
