A lot of what is considered 'classic rock' is actually from the 1970s, even if some of the artists started their careers in the late 1960s (like Zeppelin, Bowie, CSN&Y, Eagles, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, etc).

Eagles, Van Halen and AC/DC definitely didn't start in the 60's. Aerosmith was close enough I guess.

A lot of great 70's music that I like. Classic rock, of course, and pop. Since it's 1996 here, we* still have a classic rock station that seems to be the most represented at workplaces and in people my age. *Of course, that station is 65 miles away. The only other one I get at my house deep in a valley is a mix station 40 miles away. They play the Red Sox, so if I had to choose one or the other, it would be goodbye classic rock and it's morning host "Dick Palm".

You're correct, some of the groups I listed started in the 1960s, some didn't.

A lot of the stuff from 1960s bands that gets airplay outside of oldies stations is from the 1970s: the Who, the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd.

It's not the canned laughter. Or the out of place cussing on a sitcom along the lines of a bad King of Queens. It's that Sam Elliott has lost his cool.

Fuck you, this show. Fuck you. :rage:

Wow! Now this is great.

Part real-life drama. Part documentary. CIA. MK Ultra. LSD. Brain washing experiments. And suspicious deaths. It's all here and all true. And such a unique style too.

First episode of series 4 of Peaky Blinders was good with a strong cliffhanger.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Watched part two of Netflix's Wormwood tonight. More drama and less interviews in this one. Love the editing.

Another docu coming soon.

Episode 2 of the new season of Peaky Blinders, introduces Peter Baelish as the in universe equivalent of Peter Baelish.
Even has the same mannerism and speech pattern.

Hmmmph ....didn't realise what this was about.

Incredible athletes from the around the world in insane obstacle courses.

The two French brothers above ....with climbing and speed climbling ( 49' in 5.3 seconds ) just destroyed the competition. Amazing pair.

Could do without Stallone but ....remarkable athletes.....the parkour guys do very well - mix of talent and the climbers. - mindless fun. :D

Hunh surprise on Round 2 that a 200 lb American football player did very well. Heavier than others but upper body strength really useful. Flame out on level 2 tho.

and a French pole dancing athlete is the top woman and very impressive :what:

who knew

Champion Chinese rock climber almost made it look easy. I guess if you are the best of 1.3 billion ......
