Zerzevan Fortress, a Roman military settlement in Diyarbakir, Turkey, is home to a castle, houses, and a newly excavated US button with the legendary eagle and the inscription ‘E Pluribus Unum’ on it.

A different source I read for the same story (which I can't lay my hands on now) observed that such badges were quite popular amongst US tourists in the 18th and 19th centuries and the archaeologists on site were a little surprised rather than "amazed" to find such an example.
