- 52 F in Fairbanks Alaska back in the early 80's. It wasn't bad as long as I was moving, but standing still for any length of time things got a bit nippy.
Used to go out for long walks in Anchorage in the winter back in the 1970's early 80's, when -30 to -35 wasn't unusual.
But we haven't had anything I'd call real cold up here since the winter of 1988-89
