About a possible detection of an oscillation-generated tau neutrino.

It's produced with CERN's older hardware, the Super Proton Synchrotron. Its protons are sent into a beam dump, where they collide and produce lots of other particles, whose decays include muon-neutrinos. Those neutrinos are aimed at some detectors in Gran Sasso, Italy, and they oscillate along the way.

This program was about a tau-neutrino "candidate event" that was observed at Gran Sasso.
