We are all believers. We just believe different things 
. There is a lot of woo in the alt energy movement, but that does not imply that it's ALL woo. One of the "believers" is the president of the swedish sceptic society, Professor Kulander. Of course he only believes it because it was demonstrated to him. Still, it can be a very elaborate hoax, everybody (even a sceptic) can be deceived.
