So I have completed my new AMD build, is using the newly released AMD Ryzen 3700x which has 8 cores/16 threads but a tdp of only 65 watts. This by itself on 15 threads is doing up to 125k ppd making it very economical as a cpu folder. I have paired this with my RTX 2080ti. I have swapped my 'old' (is actually a brand new one after RMI for failed fan) GTX1080ti hybrid back into my old i7 5th gen system which I have set up as a spare in the house for gaming etc. My old system although not that old was just not able to keep the RTX card cool enough and anyway I wanted a new toy. Since moving house I was unable to run both cards in the same system due to heat issues and power draw on the only workable power outlets as despite the new place being fully renovated they did some weird stuff with the fuse box. Both boxes on max test are averaging 3.7 million ppd but doubt I will actually be running them both at this speed very often.
