I wasn't making the gender thing the main issue, just trying to avoid accusations of sexism, because there is no reason why a female shouldn't be a leader. Take Thatcher and May, for instance.

Has this alpha male effect been shown to operate in humans?

It may not be as extreme in humans as in chimps, for example, but doesn't Trump put on the airs of an alpha male?
