I wasn't making the gender thing the main issue, just trying to avoid accusations of sexism, because there is no reason why a female shouldn't be a leader. Take Thatcher and May, for instance.

I think you're right, he does. And although monotheism is relatively recent, older sets of gods do seem to have all had a "father of the gods" figure who seems to have been more active and dominant than the mother figure. That may be why the pussy thing didn't turn off enough people to stop him getting elected, the alpha male/father/leader actually does father most kids in a hunter gatherer clan. But I have to admit I'm pretty ignorant about this type of thing.
