Not having a belief is not a belief itself. If you say to these people that there is no evidence they will still ask you if you belief in god. And when you answer with no, assert that you believe god does not exist.


That's the problem. You don't answer with "no". You explain what a belief is, and that grown-ups shouldn't have those anymore.

You and I agree on this, but the people I've quoted above are hampered by their ideological blinkers. They would just dismiss your argument by calling it semantic games, all the while playing semantic bait-and-switching with words like belief and knowledge.
