Theism as the key to a rational worldview, that's laughable... you just have to look at the work of Middle ages luminaries, such as roger bacon, william of occam, or thomas aquinas, or even earlier, the church fathers... theology just doesn't make sense, and the science minded folk had to shoehorn god into their stuff just to avoid trouble (giordano bruno anyone?).
