I tried closing, rebooting, and nothing helped. There must be a bug in the login process. The only alternative I can think of is to reregister with a new name and password and see what happens then. When the login works it stays there for a second or two and then just reverts back to the login/register page. Very strange. As I mentioned, it only started about 2 weeks ago
