Part of the problem is that the cost in most cases of buying a digital copy isn't much less than buying the physical product, in some cases.... MORE!

Here's one for you
To buy puss in boots the movie on DVD, you'd own the legal copy in your hand, it's cost the companies time to design and print the cover art on the DVD case and the disk, the production of the disk, the storage and shipping of the disk...

£10.99... with DRM as standard, microsofts DRM by the way, so it just loves windows really....

People aren't fucking stupid, people know it costs a fuck of a lot less to store and deliver digital content than to have warehouses full of printed DVDs. So if you're going to charge £9.99 for a physical product, at least knock 25% off a digital copy.. AT LEAST!!! and remove DRM while you're at it.
