Couldn't agree more, Theropod. Pump action 12 gauge is the only way to go in a retail combat scenario. I'd add a handgun for backup, in case the meth-crew zombies get me cornered in the bathrooms. My choice would be a Kel pmr30. The .22 Magnum cartridge is sufficient for close quarters work and the 30 round magazine gives you a lot of lead to indiscriminately spray around. As last resorts I'd have a sap in my pocket and a Ka-Bar in a leg sheath.
But seriously folks, doesn't this idiot see that all he's doing is further polarizing public opinion? Carrying around a Bushmaster, the go-to platform for urban Rambo wannabes, is only going to make things worse for serious gun owners. I would certainly beat feet if I saw some redneck carrying one around Wally World.
