Reminds me of an idiot Sergeant I worked with once - we were in the field, training, and I was assigned to "aggress" against his section, conducting a fake attack (we didn't have live ammo, of course, nor even blanks, so it was "bang, bang, you're dead" time). This idiot came around the corner of his truck with his weapon slung like the dipshit above, said "bang bang, you're dead" - and looked offended when I busted out laughing in his face, slowly pointed my rifle at him, and pulled the trigger.
He says "You can't shoot me when you're dead!"
I replied "You can't shoot me with your fucking weapon on your back."
The First Sergeant, observing the whole mess, said, "Well, Sergeant, the Specialist (me) is right - now take the sling off your weapon for the rest of the field training exercise so you learn where your weapon needs to be if you want to shoot someone with it."
He says "You can't shoot me when you're dead!"
