The fact that our President is someone who would say that sort of thing is problematic in itself. It's disastrous for race and religious tensions at home, and it's equally harmful to relations abroad. This is the man we've chosen to represent the United States to the world. Even if all of his actions were the best possible actions, he would be doing irremediable harm with his whiny duck-mouth.
