Disciplinary action is exactly what I was talking about when mentioning enforcing/imposing my system of believes on others. Glad you said it yourself, unlike a post ago.


As I said, education, PR, spreading the word that men can be nurses and women can be doctors, or engineers or CEOs. One outstanding way to do that is to appoint some (like you) so that colleagues and public see it working in practice. We need role models for change.

Supporting the bigotry of those that oppose that for no better reason than to perpetuate a stereotype seems like a very bad idea to me. Still I support your right to defend those that would say you should not be doing "women's' work". That's up to you.
To be clear I don't agree that it is "women's' work".

Bigotry has no place in the workplace.
