Yeah
Apparently we got out before the heavy calvary arrived and panicked everyone
….they had not closed the SOuth Kensington station tho it was a bit chaotic on the stairs.
Turned out we could not meet our friend so were leaving early anyway
apparently 11 people injured …we saw two plus the driver who had a bit of blood on his mouth - don’t know where the other 8 were injured….that’s quite a few injured for a single vehicle event. Not sure where all the injured were located.
They are calling it an accident now officially. I guess police have to be a bit heavy handed when lacking information .....there was no panic in our cafe except for the first woman who ran in.
The poor guy driving was face down on the sidewalk pinned by some burly types and being a person of colour he must have been terrified twice over.
