Quite so. And many of the world's great works of art (Botticelli's Birth of Venus, to name but one) are literally supported by bunnies. Rabbit skin glue was an ingredient of traditional gesso, the ground (base layer) applied to wood panel or canvas prior to painting (with oils or tempera). While acrylic grounds have largely taken over nowadays, hide glue is still an ingredient in "traditional" artists' gesso.

I'm a meat-eater, so I have no problem with bunnies for food (or art ingredients). It's the unnecessary cruelty / sadism of the crushing-for-amusement that appalls. :nono:

Agreed, but I have met many people that give a very confused look if you mention animal cruelty. It's like you just mentioned tree cruelty or pond cruelty. Not everyone cares about animal welfare, not everyone cares about human welfare for that matter.

Think about it this way, we live in a world where millions upon millions of animals are farmed and killed to satisfy our taste buds. This is no different qualitatively.

I do not get off sexually when a cow is killed so I can have a steak, so this tired, worn-out, and insipid argument is going nowhere with you. Plus, anyone dispensing moral advice with your penchant for getting a charge out of torturing animals is not credible.

As for the OP, these videos are illegal in the US, and they should be everywhere. Animal cruelty is a crime. Deal with it.
