Pasta sauces are so easy to make that going out for it is silly for me. Actually, my alfredo sucks. I've tried a million recipes for it and I'm never satisfied with the result. It's the only pasta dish I've come up against that I can't make to my satisfaction though.

I make a hotass vegetarian lasagna with smoked chipotles that I freeze in aluminium foil tray pans and give as gifts to my culinarily challenged friends and family. They just toss it in the over for an hour. Dee-lish.
