I tried it a few years back. I had to wear a rubber band on my wrist and if I had a dark thought I was to stretch the band and cause myself a little pain, a distraction therapy really. I don’t think too much of it and gave up after a day. The therapist wasn’t happy when i told her what I thought of CBT and I was removed from the treatment. I’m sure it works for some.
