Leaving aside the rather ridiculous phrasing of the question, I think it would be truly wonderful.

If it could be shown that prokaryotes had found a pathway to eukaryotes more than once, especially somewhere as close as Mars, then it would be a virtual certainty that the galaxy, and indeed the universe, is absolutely teeming with intelligent life.

Possibly not for long in any one place, as seems increasingly likely here, but even so. I'd be extremely happy to hear of such a discovery.
