Some people just aren't taking this seriously.

It breaks my heart to tell you that after a long struggle she finally had to be put down this evening. I'm still haunted by the cries of pain as I drove her to the vet, trying to hold her still with one hand as she writhed around in agony on the car seat. When I got to the vet the disabled space was taken so I had to park at the bottom of the hill. It's very steep and with the extra weight of the dog, and the radiotherapy I had last week, I couldn't quite make it to the top in my wheelchair. My arms gave out when I was only yards away and we rolled back down again, crashing through the plate glass window of the local health centre before finally coming to rest in the women's sauna. As she passed away, she gave me one last look of withering contempt. I'd failed her in her hour of need and I have to say I've never felt so awful in my life - and yet strangely aroused. It was a deeply traumatic moment and now I'll never be able to barge into a women's sauna again without thinking of my brave, brave doggie.

AHA! :P Think about that next time you make fun of a poor puppy eh, eh?

PS: I googled Purina. "Your pets are our passion" apparently. Yikes!
