GENERAL MODNOTE Some may certainly think so. The other thread commented on newspaper reports which became the subject of a libel action. Shortly after the legal challenges were settled out of court, and an admission of misrepresentation was published, we received a notice threatening court action if the discussion was not removed. The opportunity of representing the psychic's position on the board and/or of posting a correction, with links to the judgement, was offered, but the legal representatives were insistent, and so the discussion was taken down. I mention this only in passing. There are no concerns about the current discussion or about any comments posted, so far.  |
