Ventura was part of the UDT (Underwater Demolition Team) not a SEAL. UDT and the SEALS merged 8 years after Ventura left the Navy. I don't think UDT did quite the same things as the SEALs in the early 70s
Ahh, but he was part of a special forces team in Central America which battled aliens in the jungle.
