Investigators DID get hold of it. (True The Vote is investigating)
As to why others weren't investigating the same way, you would need to ask them.
It seems DeSouza addressed the cell-phone accuracy with a tweet (or truth, or gab...not sure which platforms he uses)

This kind of data-mining is fairly common. I wonder if anyone minds that DeSouza et al can investigate individuals with such ease and thoroughness. And accuracy.
