This is a discussion forum. If you make statements, you have to expect they are going to be discussed. What's more, this is a rationalists' discussion forum. So not only will these things be discussed, but you will be expected to provide rational evidence and argument to back them up. Who knows how much of anything any of them said that can't be verified independently was true. Maybe you should build a time machine and go take a look, seeing you have so much emotional investment in the truth of the story.
