We have a state funded program here called “running start”, in which the state picks up the tab for academically qualified high school juniors and seniors (grades 11 and 12) to take college courses. Pretty much anything on the catalog for which they have the prerequisite knowledge.
Primus is sixteen years old, and is now in this program. His advisor at the local city college where he will be attending, reported his placement test scores were the best she’d ever seen.
He impresses me very much.
