Why is it that in the case of the cap, the respect for the broader public outweighs that of the individual and in the case of the hijab, the reverse is true?Aught3 wrote:Taking off your cap while inside is showing respect in our culture whilst wearing a head covering in public is showing respect in theirs. There are better reasons to oppose the hijab on young girls than an equal enforcement of arbitrary etiquette.
