My granddaughter just got me good.
She brought out a stuffed bear with a pack on it's back, and was telling me all the things she'd put in the "book bag". I told her it couldn't be a book bag if it didn't have books in it.
She said no, it's for school, so it's a book bag.
I replied no, if it doesn't have books in it, it should be called a back pack.
She got a big grin and said "If it's a back pack, it has to have backs in it!"
6y/o and already working word play jokes ...
