I do wonder if it is possible that we overreact to it nowadays. That probably sounds heretical. On the other hand, they are probably driven underground. We certainly have too much media on the issue. Of the wrong kind. I had an incident when I was about 7, so 1958, and even then I was afraid to report him. One was shame over my own body. Another was fear of what my dad would do to him and myself. Now I later learned that this man had abused dozens of young boys and was far less polite about than he had been with me.He was a very scary man. My bus driver to boot.
So. We obviously need to address the issue in some manner. I suggest we publicize it with education rather than sensation and hatred. You are being damned brave here BTW.
I think it's a paraphilia which I believe is nothing but a very bad habit. Bad habits can be rewired if you use the right approach. To get over internet addiction to porn you go out and have some healthy normal sex with humans. Intimacy is a right potion for lust.
This leads to what should be a discussion about sex and attraction in general. Why there is this class called lust and what paraphilias are all about. I think our prudish ways, exacerbated by years of xtianity and male dominant property ideas about female sexuality have left us a little bit stupid when it comes to actually figuring out what the intricacies of our sexual biology can tell us about these social ills. There are interesting overlapping areas in our attractions to other humans and I do not mean just sexual attractions.
Now I have to get this out. Sorry guys. But fucking thanks a lot asshole motherfuckers who have swept all of this under the rug with sexual shaming and irrational moral bullshit! You allowed a predator to drive us all to school for forty years and rape about one hundred of us. Yeah. YOU GUYS! The ones who are carrying pitchforks and torches and pretending you are all self-righteous. Shaming those here who would talk openly about the subject. Fuck y'all!
