Hello,
Being an Indian, all I can say that the rank of India in international peace & securities is 27th out of 163, which is really good.
But the Rank in Science Technology is 62nd of 163. which is not so good.
India is doing very good in Science & Technical Field.
Recently, The Indian Space Research Organizations (ISRO)Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-C35 (PSLV-C35) has successfully placed.
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has discovered a breed of natural cures for cancer in Quercetin, a compound found in fruits and leaves, and plant Vernonia Condensata, which can significantly reduce the tumour size and increase the longevity of life.
Dr. Pillai developed the concept of the joint venture BrahMOS, which makes India one of the few countries to develop it's own ballistic missiles as well as produce and supply missiles in other key areas of the world.
In 2011, CSIR successfully tested India's 1st indigenous civilian aircraft, NAL NM5 made in association with National Aerospace Laboratories and Mahindra Aerospace.
CSIR also designed India's first ever parallel processing computer Flosolver.
There are a lot of achievements successfully gained by CSIR, ISRO & DRDO in Science & Technology Field.
