Well, considering that the reporting Soldier specifically requested his/her gender be concealed in reporting to avoid future issues ... I thought it was best to comply.
I've been doing an unofficial poll of my fellow AiFs around the Net - none of them have ever experienced what this Soldier did. Sounds like a problem with one set of cadre, 1SG and Company CDR who don't know what the fuck they were talking about (they even suggested this Soldier could call the IG if unhappy with the illegal order!) but figured things out pretty quickly.
Good on the Soldier for standing up for individual rights. (That better, The_Metatron?
