My first assignment was with special forces in the UK. Now I'm in a much slower ops-tempo job in Florida. Currently have 3 years in service with the USAF.

I joined for one reason - to help destroy Al Qaeda. 9/11 impacted me in a profound way and I want to contribute in any way possible to their demise. Unfortunately, I've come to find that the military is ironically enough, the wrong place to be if you want to dismantle Al Qaeda. Hence why I am looking to go into the CIA instead.
3) In retrospect, would you do it again? Or, for how much longer are you planning to serve?
I wouldn't trade my time in the military for any other experience.
I'm planning on serving at least another few years. After that I'd like to go CIA or State Dept. I want to make policy rather than carry it out.
4) Have you had any memorable experiences, and if yes, would you mind sharing them?
Too many to mention here. Great times and bad times...but the people are what help you get through the day. I'll never forget the people I've met and continue to meet thanks to the military.
5) Has your service resulted in any sort of trauma or permanent damage?
No, but I haven't been to the sandbox yet. I should go later this year.
