We mostly use Harris PRC-148s now - having gone through SINCGARS, ASIPs, and some that came and went so quick I never learned them.
Yep, they're still the main CNR at battallion level. We were joking that we probably would have to join NATO to get rid of them--they still work (sort of), and since they're mostly only used in training, and in non-professional conscript troops, the extra weight is "useful".
