Not surprised site is running slow when we're regularly getting 1000-word posts quoted and nested with the addition of a couple of words (if we're lucky) or just a smiley. The DELETE button is there for a reason, folks! Don't be scared to edit your posts for fear of some muppet accusing you of quote mining.
