There isn't a meeting in my area and AA is just down the road, every Saturday night. I like the meetings - there are some really inspirational characters there who haven't had a drink for decades.

I think I've cracked it now, having read through the steps applying the definition of god I've outlined (the concept of the perfect being - something to emulate - Xtians do it for jesus so why can't I) and when I ask it to intervene I am encouraging my mind to strengthen that entity's image so I can see it more clearly and so emulate it, and when I worship it I am encouraging my adherence to that guiding "role model". Fuck, I could even go to church now I reckon :shock:
